What is “Joyous Juniors”?

Joyous Juniors is a 4-week small group preschool music class for a caregiver and child to participate in together that fosters a love of music while developing rhythms, social, and motor skills. Each class will have a specific theme that changes monthly and includes weekly extension activities to take home for continued music engagement.

Who is the teacher?

Hi! My name is Brianna Howland and I am the owner of “Joyous Sound Music Studio”. I earned both my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Music Education, I have current teaching certificates in Washington and California, and I have over a decade of experience teaching students ages preschool through adult. When do classes meet?

Classes meet weekly for 40-minute sessions over a period of 4 weeks. For October 2023, the theme will be “Fun on the Farm”. This round, I will be offering Friday classes from 9:30-10:10am or 10:30-11:10am and Saturday classes from 9:30-10:10am or 10:30-11:10am. Check back each month for information on the next round of classes, as the theme will be changing!

Where do classes meet?

Classes meet at my home studio on Glenwood Rd. in Port Orchard. I have a relatively small studio space, so class sizes are limited and there must be one caregiver present at all times for each child (that means siblings or extra adults may not attend).

How much does the class cost?

The cost of the class is $85 for 4 weekly 40-minute classes. This also includes a weekly handout of extension activities and resources to take home for continued music engagement in between the weekly class meetings.

How do I sign up?

Click here to access the Google Form to sign up for any of the October classes. If you are interested in more than one day or time, please let me know in the notes and I will reach out to you if your first choice of class is full. Once I receive the minimum number of sign ups required to run the class, you will be emailed a payment link and will need to submit payment online in order to complete registration and secure your child's spot in the class. There are no refunds for missed classes, but I can share our playlist so you can listen to and sing the songs at home.
